Dear Lansey Family,
Yvonne was so special in the hearts of many. She will be missed, but we all will have a story to remember about her.
Peace be with you.

I have a pleasure to work for Ms Yvonne. She gave me an opportunity to be a teller at ideal Federal savings bank in 2001 and that was a start to my professional career.
I always admired her, her style, intelligence, dedication to her social groups and her love for her family and community
My condolences are extended to Patrick, Stephanie and all of Ms Yvonne‘s loved ones

I’m shocked and so sorry to hear about Yvonne.
I know she is the last sister in that immediate family. We often ran into each other and we’re always happy to see one another and talk together about many memories.
I have fond recollections of her parents, she and her siblings. Her brother Gaines was my Dean when I pledged Alpha Phi Alpha 35 years ago this month. Many years later he was on my staff when I was Chief Deputy in the Register of Wills. I saw Yvonne almost daily as she also worked in the Courts.
I still can see her, their mom and sister Priscilla with the distinguished ladies of the venerable Dubois Circle. May they all sore with the Angels in the Celestial.

I was saddened to hear that Yvonne has passed. We both attended Henry Highland Garnett #103, starting in kindergarten, then to Booker T Washington #130. Growing up on Lafayette Ave, I knew the Lansey family, Mr & Mrs Lansey, Priscilla, Gaines, Frank, and Patrick, along with the Phillips family. To Patrick and family, my heart goes out to you for the loss of your dear Sister. I know how much she meant to you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
