Coach Frierson was the kindest, smartest offensive mind in High School Football. He was always smiling. He and at the time Head Coach Eugene Shell of. Carver Vo Tech. One One JV Tittle and the next year we went back to the Championship again but unfortunately we lost. But he gave me some of the greatest laughs when I would make a big hit on an opponent. He later went on to be the Head Coach as well as Teach at Carver Home of the Bears! Farewell Coach, you will be missed. Delly The Dirt Man 64!

Ronald Frierson has been my friend since we taught at Gwynns Falls Park Jr. High School on Hilton Street from 1974-78. We were reunited at Carver Vo-Tech during the early 90's when I was the Assistant Principal and he coached football with Coach Shell under the Athletic Director, LeRoy Nichols. Coach Frierson supported every sport and loved coaching and teaching our Carver students. He was always there for his Carver Family! I will never forget his friendship and the impact that he had on our lives as a teacher, coach , and friend. May you rest in peace, my friend " Frying Pan" as you walk through the heavenly gates where you will be re-united with your loved ones and friends. Never out of our thoughts but knowing you are in peace. My deepest sympathy to your family.

Your legacy remains. We’ll see you in your wife’s smile and your children’s eyes, hear you in the laughter of your grandchildren. We’ll miss you something awful, all the while celebrating the gift of the time we shared with you. Rest easy, Cousin.
