Mr. Reggie was the most respectful of men here at Maryland State Police. A man of class and dignity worthy of emulation.

Reggie was one of a kind.!!! I worked with him at DGSP years ago and He always had a smile and a way of making you feel like you where talking to an older brother who just wanted to catch up..!! We would talk from time to time and picked up just where we left off… when I was injured and couldn’t come back to work , Reggie checked on me from time to time to make sure I was OK. He was a member of FOP # 29. and would attend the meetings You will be missed my May Father God bless and keep you until we meet again.

I had the pleasure and honor of working with Reggie and though we had only known each other for a short amount of time, I felt as though I had known him for years. He truly was a very kind and friendly person. He made me feel welcomed as part of the team and was always there to lend a helping hand and provide a laugh. He was a shining example of selflessness, professionalism and integrity. I believe we all are better people for having known him. My sincere prayers and condolences to Mr. Riddick and his family.

Hello to the Riddick family. My name is Kebrina, and I work at Maryland State Police. Where do I begin with Mr. Reggie. Mr. Reggie always had something to say, and I could never take him seriously lol. He would always come to my cubicle with his hands on his hip and say, "Hey Ms. Kebrina I don't want any trouble" I would laugh and say, "Hey Mr. Reggie" We would always talk about food and the Baltimore Ravens. One day we were talking about Baltimore Ravens, and I told him I lost a parlay on fan duel, Reggie asked "what is that" I told him it's a sports betting app. Reggie downloaded the app and ever since that day, we haven't won on FanDuel lol. I'm going to miss telling you to stay out the candy bowl and banning you from the 3rd floor. The last thing Reggie said to me was "what's your tag number so I can play my numbers" lol If Reggie hit the lottery, I need my dollar lol. It was a pleasure laughing and joking with you.

To the family Grief never respects your schedule. When you start to grieve don't fight thoughts with thoughts use your words to kill every negative thought. when those thoughts come to you, know that the devil is a liar and everything he says it's a lie and there is no truth in you. So, every negative thought you present i kill in the name of Jesus I'm in total control over my mind and you have no control over my emotions.

Mr. Reggie was a very kind person. He always spoke to me whenever we crossed paths. Mr. Reggie was always courteous and had a bubbly personality. He would ask "what do you have today?" when I would heat up my homemade meals in the microwave. He would always visit on the third floor and speak to everyone in each cubicle.

Mr. Reggie will be missed. It was a pleasure to work with him.

I first met Mr. Reggie when he joined MSP Licensing Division – Security Services Unit. I was Mr. Reggie’s trainer at the time. We had many laughs and good times together, even when Mr. Reggie transferred over to the Handgun Permit Unit, he would still come over and visit us and check to see how we were all doing and to catch up with us all. He was a very family orientated man! Mr. Reggie would talk about his wife Tina and his grandchildren and how proud he was of them and the trips they planned with the kids for the summer, Holidays and just life in general! He was an inspiration to all. He also had a smile on his face and a great personality a true friend, there is not a person who came in contact with Mr. Reggie that he didn’t instantly has some kind of a connection with him. Mr. Reggie was and will always be a kind loving soul and will be missed by many. May he Rest In Peace and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time. God Bless You All! Until we meet again my Friend – Fly High Mr. Reggie and continue watching over all of us.

I was assigned to the MSP Licensing Division until retirement in June 2022. I met Mr Riddick during his hiring phase and got to know him once he came on board.

In my daily division travels, I often stopped and spoke with Mr. Riddick. His smile and kind nature was contagious. His genuine friendliness shined upon all those who worked with and around him.

Mr. Riddick was a pleasure to work with.

God Bless You Mr Riddick. You will be missed.

I met Mr Reggie when I joined the handgun permit unit with Maryland State Police and I told him how much he reminded me of my own grandfather, Mr Reggie was always the one to speak his mind, could always get a laugh outta me talking to him. Often we would talk about all types of food spots and fragrances to smell especially when he traveled to Columbia Mall. He would often come on the third floor of our unit and to get snacks not to mention he always left a little donation on my desk. Mr Reggie will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family during this difficult time.

I met Reggie when I joined the Handgun Permit Unit and from day one he welcomed me with open arms. He made me feel welcomed. The more we talked the more I found out that we had in common including both of us being fans of the same football team, the 49ers. Coming into the office each morning, the first thing I always said was "Mr. Reggie" I can't even look into his cubicle This one HURTS!!! He was truly GOOD Man and he will be so missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May GOD watch over them during these difficult times.

I met Reggie when I interviewed him for the Administrative Specialist I position with the Maryland State Police Security Guard Unit. I then became his supervisor when he transferred to the Handgun Permit Unit and we became good friends even when I left and went to another unit in the Licensing Division. I then found out that he lives around the corner from me. Reggie was a great guy who always talked about his Grandkids. He will be truly missed.
