My wife and I are praying for this great family of faith. We cherish the memories of our time with Phillip at Ripken stadium eating crabs, hot dogs and hamburgers and watching the Ironbirds. My fond memories also included my time with him in the Men's Fellowship, Bible Study and of course his leadership as an usher. He was always for real and reminded us to be genuine. The Morning Star family and the body of Christ will miss a great Door Keeper. Heaven however will gain a great man of God.

My sincere condolences to the family of Phillip Wells. I will always remember him ushering and greeting me at Morning Star. He and I worked together during many a Men's Day. A true Gentle Man. May he sleep in Christ Jesus.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. Psalm 84:10

Our heart aches for you and your family. Phil was a wonderful person and excellent President of the Usher Board at Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ.
Rest in Peace, friend.

My heart is really heavy right now. Phil was a very nice guy. He was such a humble soul and a joy to be around. He was the president of our usher board at Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ and will be surely missed. My condolences to the family, especially his brother Darnell and his sister in law Angela. We will keep the family in prayer. Rest In Peace my friend, you deserve it.
