To the family of Thomas, you have my deepest sympathy. Thomas and I were classmates at St. Peter Claver Elementary School. I will keep Thomas and all of you in my prayers. God has asked us to pray for the salvation of all souls once one of his children pass on, which I will do for Thomas.

May the peace of God be with all of you, and be a source of comfort to you in the days ahead. God bless you.

Goddad,

It’s Shayla. Thank you so much for being an amazing Goddad and father figure to myself, my mom, Shawna and aunt, Lyndsay. Also, a true lifelong friend to my grandmother, Zelda. Thank you for our talks and advice about life, relationships, family, and education. You took me in like I was your own and taught me to be a “woman of my word.” You taught me how to drive in your clean and fancy BMW. I passed my drivers test on the 2nd try with you being present. You were so proud of me that day. Since then, I never got into any car accidents because of your excellent and patient teaching. I’m thankful you got to meet my daughter, Journey Amani last spring. She loved you and automatically knew you were special. You will be missed by so many and you were and will always be an amazing father, husband, brother, and friend to many. I’ll miss your calls and your handsome and classy style. I love you deeply my Godfather, rest in God’s grace. Love,
Shayla Noelle

I met Tom in May of 1974 and we have been friends for 52 years. Life brought ups and downs for both of us, but we always seemed to stay connected. Tom was a gentle man of few words because his heart did all of the talking. He was a loyal friend who would do anything he could to help. He became my daughters Godfather when their dad passed, a title that he took seriously.
I will miss you my dear friend. Take your rest. You deserve it.
My condolences to the family and may Almighty God give you comfort and strength in the coming days.

I am so sorry for your loss. Thomas was a wonderful neighbor and a truly kind man. He was always gracious and thoughtful, and he showed great kindness to me and my family over the years. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Fly high Thomas!

I am so sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. He deserved a long and relaxing retirement. I had a “challenging" boss to work for at McCormick I’d call him in a panic, Tom always made sure that I got hold of whatever it was the boss needed back in the lab. What a pleasure he was to know and work with and just a joy to know. I was looking forward to many more retiree luncheons and Christmas parties with him. My sincere condolences to his family. Tom was a good man.
