I will miss the times we shared. You were always put together every time I saw you. You will be sorely missed.

I was heartbroken to learn of Lillian’s passing. Raquel was my best friend growing up, and I spent as much time, if not more, in the Covingtons’ home on Strathmore Avenue as I did in my own. The Covingtons were a second family to me, and Lillian always made me feel welcome, cared for, and loved. She personified grace and kindness, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have known and loved her. May her memory be a blessing.

I will miss my great‑aunt Lillian so much. She was truly beautiful inside and out. As the last of her siblings and the Matriarch of our family, she lived a full life and ended it with grace. We love you dearly, Aunt Lillian.
