To Lawson Jr,Kathleen,Mattew and Brian
He was privileged to have his children at his bedside through his passing days.
Dear family,my deepest condolences for the loss of your father Lawson.
Dear family of Lawson Perry French Cooper.I have the privilege to know Lawson as my friend and brother for over 55 years.I met Lawson's mother while in Jamaica at her home where she was a lovely hostess. She then told me she had a son living in Baltimore and wanted me to say hello so she gave me his address and my return to Baltimore I contacted Lawson.A little later my cousin Sherry who was visiting from England we both were invited by Lawson to his home.As time grew I was privileged to meet Lawson Jr at one of our visits. Our friendship grew over those many years.I introduced him to Toni Leadbetter my co-worker at Lutheran hospital.Toni and Bill loved to entertain an at one of their parties I introduced Lawson to Toni.Over those many years much later I was privileged to be invited to Lawson and Susan's wedding. From that union came three beautiful children,Kathleen,Matt and Brian. It is important to recognize Lawson as an extraordinary man and father.
After retirement as an engineer he continued to work.I had asked him why was he still working and that's when he told me that he had three kids two in collage and one heading to collage. This hard working man lived a life that mattered. In this pivotal time in history he lived to be 100 years old.As Martin Luther King says "longevity has it's place"
May you find peace in knowing how much he loved all his children equally and they loved him dearly.May the memories of your dad be a happy one and may God continue to criddle and bless all of you in this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Dr Shirley Nathan-Pulliam
