When I first heard you had transition I was at work, and India called me around 3am. She said ma can you take any bad news. I said what is it? She said, Kim is gone. All I could do is get up from my desk , and go to the bathroom and just cry. Not to hear you fussing, and then say oh hi Tasha. How's Dj, India, and Xavier? I'm going to miss you, but I know God had something better.
To my family stay strong, and know we will see her again.

Not only were you my aunt but you were also my Godmother and you didn’t take that title lightly. From day 1 of my life you were there every step of the way. You and Shermon Ezra Abu Shanks stood beside my mother day in and day out. I was your baby before you were blessed with your own. I did no wrong in your eyes. Even into my adulthood, marrying the love of my life and having my own kids you accepted them as your own too. Even though we all miss you down here, we know you’re in a better place pain free having a good time! You earned your wings! I love you and I know you are watching over us all❤️❤️

My Sister, This is one of the hardest things that I have to go through, you knew I told you not to leave me BUT I understand. Not gonna say that I want to but I know I have to. It was always you and me growing up just us 2 then came the Love of your life stepping in (lol) BUT you still had me by your side (pictures would prove this) so it then became us 3 and I wouldn't have any other way. You will always be that one shinning star that I will always see in the dark night sky. Until we see each other again, I LOVE YOU.

I met Kim through her niece Evita Venable. I didn't have an opportunity to get very well aquatinted with her, but I felt as though I did because of the stories Evita told me. She loved her family passionately. She was selfless and made great sacrifices to insure their well being. She was a truly remarkable, strong woman who was loved immensely and will be horribly missed.
