I will truly miss my sister, Joye helped me with my son Markell since he was a baby, we met at the class we had to take for DSS. Joye was my best friend and a caregiver to my son until his teenage years. She was a wonderful mother, sister and a Woman of God. We would talk all the time on the phone. I will truly miss our talks and visits at the nail salon. Thank you for being a true friend/sister to me. I love you but God loves you the best. Take your rest my friend, until I see you again. Please watch over me down her until we meet again. RIP. My Dear Sister.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire family. Ms. Joy was truly a jewel — a light with such a warm heart and a hilarious sense of humor that could brighten any room she entered. I will always cherish my memories from Lakewood Avenue, where her presence made ordinary days unforgettable. I can still recall the laughter-filled conversations and all the funny stories she would share while I eagerly waited for my frozen cups or the amazing dinners her sister, Ms. Pam, lovingly prepared. Those moments were filled with joy, kindness, and the unique way she had of making people feel seen and loved.

The Word of God reminds us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. With that promise, I find comfort in knowing that Ms. Joy is resting safely in the arms of her Heavenly Father — the very One she honored, praised, and lived for so beautifully. Though her earthly presence will be deeply missed, her spirit, laughter, and legacy of love will forever live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding keep and strengthen you during this time, and may you find comfort in knowing that Ms. Joy is now rejoicing in glory.

My sincere condolences to the family. Death of a loved one is so painful. The Bible tells us about the hope for all who die . John 5:28,29. The Resurrection! On Earth! You will be reunited on Earth!
