To the Blue Family;
The Goodman family would like to extend our most heartfelt and deepest condolences in the loss of Thomas Blue. While most of us no longer live on Carrolton Avenue our hearts will always remain there as most of us spent our childhoods there. There were some good days and there were some challenging days but I feel confident that I can speak for all of us when I say that those were some of the best days of our lives and Thomas was a part of the 700 block of Carrollton Ave family. I'm sure we all remember the summers chasing the ice cream trucks, buying frozen cups, hanging out in Lafayette Square and sitting out on the front steps at night. While Thomas was a few groups ahead of us younger guys, he would make the time to harass and slap us around...LOL. It was always great listening to the his stories and mis-adventures and we all know that he was a determining factor in who we are today and are better for having known him as we were growing up. It's with much LOVE that I pray that your family get through this time of bereavement times and that it is replaced with all of the good times and laughter that we all shared. Over the years we have all loss members of the 700 Block but are family and no one, nor can time change that...
