Haley was one of the most genuine sweetest souls I’ve ever met. One of the best friends and was always there when anyone needed a shoulder to lean on. I’ll truly miss their warm spirit and hope they finally found the peace that they provided to so many others. My condolences to their family and friends who are hurting during this difficult time.

Haley was one of my close friends in high school. She was funny, the smartest girl I knew and had a big heart. We grew apart in high school because I moved schools, but I still won’t forget the genuineness I felt from knowing her and being her friend at one point in time. I truly hate to hear the news, I know the world and her family will miss having her here. I pray for comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Haley and I met during the summer after our junior year of high school. We immediately took to each other and stayed in touch until we graduated. We would spend our summer weekends together, going to the pool, eating fruit in the sun, listening to music, and having sleepovers. They were my first real best friend. Once we began college we lived together on several occasions. Haley was the person who showed me that family doesn’t have to be biological. They offered me a home when my own family wasn’t able to. We spent Thanksgiving and Christmas together. They had the biggest heart and the most wonderful smile. They were so genuine, brilliant, funny, tender, and giving. They showed me so much love and acceptance, and I know I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today without meeting Haley. I wish I could have another car music jam with them, another cooking night, another cuddle with our cats. Haley will always be in my heart and I will be eternally grateful for the times that our paths aligned. I am sending my condolences to their family and the rest of their friends, and I am praying for their peaceful transition.

Haley was always such a genuinely kind person to me. I’ve always had such great conversations with them. We talked about our indigenous/Native backgrounds and the culture. We had a lot of deep conversations that I will always hold in my heart. I was so glad to keep in touch with Haley throughout the years. We met at Step-up when we was in high school. Haley will be someone I cherish and keep close. Will forever think of you and everything we’ve done.

It’s still hard to believe that Haley is no longer with us. She always brought me so much joy whenever I would see her. From a child to adulthood she always had the biggest, kindest, and most caring heart. It makes me sad to know that she was living with so much pain. She was truly loved by everyone! This will be a void in our lives that will never be able to be replaced. Haley continue to rest in peace. No more pain or sorrow. Praying for you guys Susie and Lemella that God will continue to wrap His arms around you to give you the strength you need to make it through this extremely difficult time in your lives. Love you so much!
