Diane brought joy and laughter to every conversation and every visit. She had a wonderful sense of humor, lived life to the fullest, and had a special way of taking two negatives and turning them into something positive. We will never forget our visit with her in Baltimore on July 9. While we went there to encourage her, we left that day inspired by her strong faith and her acceptance of whatever God’s will was for her life. Diane shared with us that one of her favorite songs was “Just Build My Mansion,” a song she loved during her time at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, where she became a member while living in North Carolina. Diane will be greatly missed, and her zest for life, her strong faith, and love for her family and friends will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, our dear friend. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Diana was a sweet, kind and loving person to all that knew her. She joined our Church family in NC on her return here and was always a joy to fellowship with. May she rest now in peace. Our prayers are with all family and friends.

favorite Auntie:
My Favorite Auntie:
In Honor of Diane Williams
Aunt Diane, my favorite, a light so true,
Your smile could brighten skies of gray and blue.
With hands that healed and heart that cared for all,
You stood the tallest, never afraid to fall.
A mother, wife, a grandma full of grace,
You led with love in every single place.
In church, at home, or gathered 'round the tree,
Your faith and warmth made family mean more to me.
You lifted kin when storms began to rise,
With quiet strength and fire in your eyes.
A Christian soul, so grounded and so kind,
A rare, strong woman of the finest mind.
From kitchen talks to wisdom soft and deep,
You planted love while others only sleep.
Your laughter rang, your spirit soared so high —
A sister, guide, a star within the sky.
Though you’ve gone home, your light still gently beams,
Reflected in our dreams and daily themes.
So rest, dear Auntie, in that peaceful place —
We’ll carry on your love, your smile, your grace.
For you’re not gone — you live in every prayer,
In every hug, in how we truly care.
My favorite Auntie, beautiful and grand —
Forever held, forever close, by God’s own hand.
I hope this brings you comfort and love to all you have cared for I will miss you He will forever stay in my heart.
Love you always Nicky Williams and Nicholas Williams ❤️
