To Mr. Wicks: Thank you for being you - a man of superior knowledge, skill, and heart. You were like a second father to me and gave me crucial guidance, support, and love that helped me to navigate life better than I would have without it. You were a superior model for manhood and gave me the benefit of your eclectic background - carpenter, gourmet chef, semi-pro pool player, landlord, chemist, investor, salesman, and more. I thank God for lending you to me and you for the choices you made in supporting me and others. Now, I have to do the work of accepting this loss and appreciating God taking you back. I love you, and when I think of the best about many things, you often come into my mind first. You'll be one of the first souls I'll be looking for on the other side of life when I get there. I also thank God for those who supported you and hope that He rewards them for their good work and sacrifice. So long for now Mr. Wicks.
Love,
Ralph
