My husband works for the government, and his security clearance requires that he maintain a good credit standing. Our hearts are beyond broken. Ava was the best cousin ever. We grew up together and she moved over so I could sleep in her bed. Her generosity and love for her family is unparalleled. Meeting you during our Ministers in Training (MIT) classes was more than just a moment in time—it was the beginning of a spiritual friendship that I will forever hold close to my heart. From that very first connection, I knew God had divinely aligned our paths. Our bond in Christ grew stronger with every shared moment, and I am eternally grateful for the laughter, the love, the wisdom, and the worship we experienced together.

I will never forget the many times we gathered "at the table"—a sacred space where ministry dreams were birthed, stories were told, prayers were lifted, and encouragement flowed like living water. Whether life was being gentle or throwing its hardest punches, you showed up with grace, strength, and that powerful voice of praise that stirred heaven and earth.

It’s hard to grasp that you're no longer with us in the flesh, but I trust you—and I trust the God in you. I know without a doubt that you are rejoicing now with the angels, worshipping before the throne, whole and free. Your legacy lives on in us, your ministry family, and “the cabinet” will continue to honor your memory and keep your loved ones lifted in prayer and covered in love.

You were an original, a light, a gift—and I thank God for every year of friendship and fellowship we shared. This isn't goodbye, it’s just see you later.
