What a honor to be a part of the homegoing service for a beautiful woman of God. Kim, Karen, Terrance, Dorothea, Grandchildren, Great-Grands, and other family members what a blessing from God for allowing this honorable, remarkable saint to be a part of your legacy, that you experienced her love and she experienced yours. May you rely on the Lord to see you through your grieving process giving you what is needed to help you in those painful, sorrowful moments. He knows and He cares.

Dottie is at rest. She gave so much of herself to others through her ministry of teaching. We shared moments in choir and conversations about the pride she had for her granddaughter. The world has lost a wonderful Christian warrior, but heaven's
choir has added a new joyous voice. Eugene and I are praying for you as you navigate this difficult period.

Expressing our sincere condolences in the loss of your beloved Dorothy Ricks. Dorothy was my Discipleship Class Teacher and a family friend. She knew her Bible inside and out!! She poured so much into each of us. She was so much fun, having us laughing when telling stories of her life growing up being the only girl, I think of nine children. She was a CHAMPION AND ONE OF GOD'S GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANTS. LOVE YOU DOTTIE❤❤

We have so many memories with Ms. Dorothy. We all sang together on the Chapel Choir at New Psalmist for years. I remember Ms. Dorothy fixing us a big pot of homemade chicken and dumplings! I just mentioned one time that I had not had homemade since my mother passed. She was very thoughtful and kind. We are praying for strength for the entire family in their loss especially during this pandemic crisis.
