Four weeks ago today you transitioned. I miss you more and more every day. Every day is a struggle living without you. I’m thankful for the 57 years God allowed you to be here for me. Things just aren’t the same. I miss you Ma…take your rest in paradise.

Ms. Hicks would always a greeted you with a smile, she will be truly missed. May the good Lord comfort you and your family.

We express our deepest sympathy in the passing of your mother. Sis. Hicks was a dedicated member of the Culinary Ministry of Gethsemane Baptist Church and served faithfully. She made it clear that she wasn't cooking but was happy to assist with any other tasks. She will be greatly missed by us. May God continue to strengthen your family and be encouraged to know that she is serving in eternity with the Lord.

I am truly going to miss Sis. Hicks and her lovely homemade cakes. She was always caring and pleasant to be around. We had really good conversations about mental health and she inspired me to help others even more. May God's strength and comfort be with the Hicks family during this difficult time.
