Ms. Fran saying thank you just ain't enough. To say that you were a role model for me ain't saying enough either. You were an anchor that grounded me and let me know that I did not have to succumb to pain meds..
Met you first on Pennsylvania Ave years ago and our lives crossed paths again when I saw you really struggling. Your struggle and glaring stare into my eyes made me stop feeling sorry for myself and hold my head up high.
Thank you for waking me up in time for class at BIC and giving me the courage to become Doctor. All of this while staving off potential addiction.
Keeping my promise to return to the Square and praying to God that I can master that penetrating stare that you had so that I can inspire dignity, love, forgiveness and giving.
Family thank you for sharing Ms. Fran with me and the world.

To My Beloved Sister-in-law...

God called you home to be at peace. Your pain is no longer, it's has been released.
I'll miss you more than words can say.
I'll cherish memories made each day.
Your sense of humor, your laughter, and your smile, could brighten a room for quite a while.
Those Sunday dinners, Thanksgiving Day Feasts and Christmas Gift Gatherings will be missed for sure.
My kind and loving thoughts of you will live on forevermore.

Fran, to know you was to love you. We became better then friends over the years. You were my Sister in Christ. We talk often, laugh a lot and prayed for God to continue to watch over our families and the community in which we served. I truly thank God for our friendship that began in the Emergency Room of Bon Secours Hospital. I love and will miss you so very much. Until we meet again Sis.

Ms. Fran thank you for always welcoming me into your home with open arms. Your personality was out of this world. Your strength was like no other. You were a walking testimony and a fighter. You left your mark in this world. You are loved by so many and we all are going to miss you. You’ve done your service here and now it’s time for you to rest. ❤️

God dammit Fran ...you leaving us to fend for ourselves in this fucked UP world!!! You were my dearest friend during my hardest journey. You help me find truth in my craft and love in my self. Thank you for helping me become "Bubs" on screen and the best version of myself off screen. Thank you for being an honest reflection of love and strength. I hope I can find you in heaven and we will laugh again....but i'm probably gonna need you to get me in! May those angel wings be made of diamonds baby... like the one I always saw when you gave me than slick ass grin!!! #wireforlife

I know this wonderful lady as Ms. Fran. She was funny, always transparent, and dedicated to her job or was it her passion because that is how she treated it. I, her colleagues, and the community will miss her so. Bye for now Ms. Fran, I thank God for allowing our paths to cross in this life.

I had the privilege of getting to know both Fran and Donnie when I was a student at the University of Maryland and working in my field placement at the Law School. Fran was a powerhouse and the world is a better place for her work, light and energy. Fran's views on addictions shaped my practice in that area, and now I teach in that field. I will make sure my students hear her voice talk in my lectures about the potential for growth and change. May her memory be a blessing for all of her loved ones.
