Von was a terrific person. I worked with her for many years at HCH and she was calm, patient and able to anticipate what was needed before you could even think about it. She will be missed

I knew Von during my time as a Healthcare for the Homeless Board member. She was a delight- warm, fun, helpful and beautiful. I am so sorry she has left us so soon. Yet, she gave so much of her talents and spirit to serve the needs of others. May she find peace and joy with her heavenly family.

My sincere condolence.
I thought of myself as a strong and capable man- but now I realize that the strength and capability came from Vonnie, and I was just a man lucky to have been friend to an amazing woman. I always used to pray that I see her soon. Didn’t know that my heart would be torn apart. She will truly be miss. No calls or messages anymore from her; and that was all that mattered.

Sisters I am here for you ALWAYS

I am deeply sorry for the loss of such a beautiful, patient, kind, and giving soul. I will miss our conversations and the way she encouraged me and so many others, even while navigating her own life journey.

Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
