The world just lost an outstanding person. I considered Darryl both a great friend and mentor as well. During our conversations, he regularly gave me very helpful suggestions that I still use during everyday life. Darryl routinely offered support after my mom passed away. I will always remember his kind actions.
On many occasions, Darryl would go above and beyond in supporting Evolve’s clients. At times, Darryl supplied food or other items from his own house to ensure our residents felt welcomed. Even though Darryl did not enjoy watching baseball, he routinely made it a point to talk with me about the Orioles. I feel one of his main goals was helping individuals rebuild their self worth. Darryl absolutely touched so many lives during those 3 years that I knew him. I will definitely be praying for Darryl’s family during this tragic time.
