With deep compassion and love in my heart, I've conveyed these words of sympathy many times this year. "Time waits for no one." It is true! However, the Good Lord is so gracious, so kind, and so merciful, HE gives us more than enough time to introduce ourselves to Him so that when we leave this earthly realm, we will have another place in our heavenly home, and there will also be a crowd of witnesses to welcome us home.
Larry must be so happy he introduced himself to Jesus, our Saviour a long time ago. And, today he has a home not made by hands.
We are all striving one day to see him again. But, most of all, we want to see King Jesus in that Great Gettn' Up Morning!

It is truly sad to see you go. You had so much life in you, and although I know the last couple of years were rough, you have definitely left an impact on this world and on the people who had the privilege of knowing you. Your strength and courage were undeniable.

As a neighbor, you had our little part of the neighborhood covered. Nobody was going to park in your spot—or your neighbors’ spots—without Larry knowing about it! But more importantly, you looked out for us. As a young mom raising young children, I always appreciated knowing that you were keeping an eye on my house and our neighborhood. We may have called it Neighborhood Watch, but the truth is, the Neighborhood Watch was you, Larry, and it was very much appreciated.

I also admired your courage to speak up and stand your ground when others didn't have—or didn't want to muster—the courage to do so. That was simply who you were.

I'm sorry that your journey took such a difficult turn these last few years, but it was truly my pleasure to have you as my neighbor and to have known you.

Blue sky has a new meaning now. You spent so many years watching over our neighborhood, and now I can imagine you watching over us from above, in that beautiful blue sky.

Rest in peace, Larry. After everything you've endured, you are deserving of a peaceful rest. You will be remembered, and you will be missed.
