It is with great sadness that I mourn the passing of a true sister and friend. Doing our years at Northwestern Senior High School we were good friends. I remember her being one of the foundering members of the MarVan Singers. We spend time in school and in church praising God together. It was a blessing to see Brenda at our class reunion in 2022. Brenda was determined not to leave that night without visiting with me! She was a blessed person and truly represented the Body of Christ! I rejoice in knowing that I will see her again!

To Dana (Daughter), Sheila (Sister) and the entire Brown/Logan Family I extend my deepest sympathy on the passing of my friend and high school classmate, Brenda Brown. We first met around 1968 when we walked thru the doors of Northwestern High School. During that time we were church kids and ended up in many of the same circles. Brenda was an original member of the gospel group The Mar-Van Singers and she traveled with the group sharing her gift. In recent years, it was not unusual for her to call and make sure I knew what was happening in the class. As class president, I admired her strength and despite her challenges she never missed a class reunion . We have shared pictures this week of her at our 50th reunion. We will miss her and that contagious laugh. Rest well dear classmate. You will be in our hearts forever. Gone but never forgotten!
