I first met Ms. Peals as my Math Teacher at Edmondson High School in September, 1969. She was my greatest Math teacher. She inspired be to Love Math in which I became a Math Major. I joined FMO in 1993. One day at FMO, I saw Sister Barbara Peals and I was so glad to see her. She remembered me as Class of 1972. She shared with me that I was one of her great student's that was easy to teach because I had greatness in me. Also, that she had informed me that she just started teaching fresh out of college in 1969. I thanked her because her teaching that she planted in me allowed me to teach my children, grandchildren and great grand children in Math. Sister Barbara Peals You Were The Greatess Math Teacher. May Your Journey Be Peaceful. You Have Earned You Wings. Much Love, Hope, Faith, Joy and Peace.

To Robert Peals and Family,
Thinking of you in this time of loss and asking God to tenderly care for your deepest needs.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
With heartfelt sympathy.

Thank you M's Peals, for being a role model and an inspiration to me. As being one of your misbehaving students in class at Edmondson the year of 1970, you kept me on the straight and narrow. Apparently you saw something in me then, that I didn't see. Because of your guidance and support I went on to earn my B.S. in Mathematics from Morgan State University. May you have a peaceful journey!

Barbara Peals and I were colleagues when we served on the faculty of Edmondson High School. I found her to be an outstanding teacher, friend and role model for the students under her charge. I can say with certainty that students fortunate enough to have been assigned to her classes reaped the benefits of Barbara's mathematical competence. On a social level, the two of us were fierce, yet amicable competitors at the duplicate bridge table.
Rest is peace, Barbara. You've earned your wings

I knew Barbara Peals as one of Baltimore's finest Math teachers, a woman of impeccable integrity and an avid bridge player.
She will be greatly missed.
