To the Erickson Family,
Vonda and I along with your Shiloh AME Family are writing to extend our deepest condolences to you during this time of sorrow. We humbly accept God’s perfect plan, recognizing that Sister Erickson now dwells with Him in the glories of Paradise. As we reflect on this profound loss, we take comfort in the assurance that the last enemy of humanity has been defeated for those who have accepted Christ.
“O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” (1 Corinthians 15:55-57). Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you, and where I am, there you will be also.” Therefore, let us embrace and trust these words of the One who gave His life for us.
As we honor Sister Annie Ruth Erickson's life, we acknowledge that our hearts are heavy with grief. The bonds of love, respect, and friendship among us are a testament to her impact on our lives.
Sincerely Reverend Darryl and Sister Vonda Ford and the Shiloh AME Church family.
