I was just informed this morning that Edith made the transition this past February. We attended Morgan State around the
same time for a year or so and remained friends long after that. My wife and I will long remember her spirit and her warmth. We say rest in divine peace dear friend. Our condolences to the family.

We were saddened to hear the news of Edith's passing. She and Joe were family to us. That had an impact on our lives both personally and professionally. We often talk about the wonderful times we shared with them. May she rest in eternal peace.

The Diamond family extends our deepest condolences to you on the loss of our longtime neighbor and close friend Mrs. Gibson. We always referred to the Gibson's as Mrs. Gibson and Joe. Mrs. Gibson always had a combination of sophistication and a friendly demeanor - they became like part of our family on Benhurst Road.

As a kid, I remember thinking that Mrs. Gibson and Joe were so cool. They went out frequently with friends to dinner/dance parties and events. Their granddaughter Lauren was the "apple of their eye." The Gibson's attended all our family events. They had warm hearts and won't be forgotten.

Edith will be remembered for being stylish and sophisticated. She knew how to put it together. I always enjoyed our conversations
She was down-to-earth, and you could talk to her about anything. We thank you Chris for your commitment and devotion to our beloved Edith. Rest In Peace

I am so very sorry for your loss. Our families have been friends for years. George and I were 1967 classmates at FPHS. I hope there is a link for the service on the 24th and I won't attend the wake on the 23rd because it is the fiftieth anniversary of my father death.

Edith and Joe were our backyard neighbors for about 30 years and our friends and classmates.
Edith had charm, humor, presence and charity for all.

We have missed her in the last couple of years.

We are thankful for knowing her and Joe.
