Hi this is uncle Art (Cheryl’s uncle), I say hi because I know I will see Julian again. Even though I did not see Julian that often it was special when I did see him! Everyone that knew Julian saw the love and concern he had for all people. One of Julian’s neighbors that spoke at his service pointed that out so clearly when she said no one was a stranger to Julian and everyone in the neighborhood that he came in contact with was treated like family --- he made the neighborhood one big family.
The deep love Julian had for my niece Cheryl his wife is a model for all men to follow.
With the help of Christ and Julian’s deep love, the love of Charlotte her twin sister and Bobby Charlotte’s husband who was like a brother to Julian, Cheryl is going to be just fine. We don’t have to worry.
Every 2 years the Dixons would have a family reunion (Cheryl and Charlotte’s mother Ruth is a Dixon). I always looked forward to seeing Julian there because he was always so laid back and philosophical (smile) I say smile because his conversations were always entertaining as well as profound. Like the time the water pipes busted during the 2006 family reunion in Sacramento California and the secret trip to Lake Tahoe.
I last saw Julian in 2020 and I feel so blessed that I was able to see him then.
