When I heard that Kirk had passed, a deep sadness enveloped my heart. I went to the same schools that he had attended with his brothers and my brothers; from St. James & John., St. Wenceslaus to St. Frances Academy. I also came back to teach at our high school because, just like him, I wanted to be able to help our black students have a better chance at being successful at whatever they wanted to do. I lost my brother, Derrick, a few years ago also to a stroke. He and Kirk were good friends in high school. Kirk's death reminded me of my time in all of the Catholic schools that we had attended together and also that it's my generations time to begin leaving this earth. May the work we have done speak for us and we will all get to see each and also get to see God in the place we call our eternal home!!!

My deepest sympathy to the family. He was a great Man to me and my grandson, Devin Gray. He was his principal and taught him how to be a man. He was a good person and he will be missed.

My brother's work is finished on earth. He has been promoted to the Omega Chapter. I pray that God the Father will bless his wife, children and family during the difficult time. Father provide them with "Your Peace that passes all understanding." Brother Gaddy's life was well lived in service to God, family and fraternity.
