My condolences to all of the family. I worked with Mr. Smothers at the Bureau of Purchases until his retirement. I enjoyed speaking with him. I know he will be missed. God bless all of the family and friends.

My condolences to the Smothers Family. I worked with Mr. Smothers for many years in The Bureau of Purchases & transferred about 13 years ago, so I also had the change to work with a couple of Mr. Smothers sons in Department of Public Works (I do not remember their names). I have many stories and nothing but loving memories, he will be missed.

Mr. Smothers, my good friend, neighbor and mentor in golf definitely but also in life. I am sad, but inspired. May God strengthen Mr Smothers family and that they know that they are always in our prayers. God Bless
