We met through chess in 1979. We eventually became the greatest friends. You were more of a father figure than my actual father. You helped me out of some tough situations. You will be truly missed.

The angels looked down from heaven one night.
They searched for miles afar,
And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.

They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So, they took you up to heaven,
Forever to remain.

Look down on us from heaven.
Keep us free from hurt and pain.
You'll always be within my heart
Until we meet again.

Cam, Nicole, and Alex you have my condolences. Your Father loved you guys very much and is in a better place. He will no longer suffer or be in any pain. Uncle Phil will surely be missed by his abundance of family and friends. The twins, Diamond & Chloe, will truly miss him. They talk about him every day about how they used to talk to each other on the phone all the time laughing and telling jokes. I remember all the good times we had at Bonner Road with my Mom, Sandra. There was never a dull moment and that is when we all were so carefree!!! I, also, remember the good times at O'Dell's. Everyone partied down there where 'You Knew If You Belonged'.

Uncle Phil We Love You and We Will Miss You Very Much!!!

Your Niece Tonya!

True friendship is a blessing. Thank you for being there. We tried to help each other and others. We shared memories of the times we had before we became acquainted. You were never selfish. Football and politics were our favorite subjects. You are missed but I know we will meet again buddy. May your family be comforted and may the Lord keep them.
