We owe a debt of gratitude to Darryl Talley. He was the instructor in the Social Welfare Dept. for myself and my future wife during our years at Morgan State College 1971-1973. He became an advisor and a friend. He helped guide both of us in finding field placements and eventual employment in Social Work with the Baltimore City Dept of Social Services. Talley also encouraged me to pursue and complete my Master's Degree at Howard University. There were numerous students who had the benefit of his knowledge and experience while at Morgan State. Prayers go out for his family; asking God to comfort them at this difficult time. My wife and I say thanks to the family for sharing Darryl Talley , as he touched so many lives in a positive way.
