My Deepest Sympathy to the Family. This Beautiful, Sweet Lady, Violet Wyche, will be missed very much. I will miss her quick wit and sense of humor. She was such a hard worker and committed member of Metropolitan United Methodist Church.

Well, I am not one to say much or do a lot of talking, but I can write how I feel. As much as we all try to prepare for the loss of a loved one, we are never actually prepared. Mrs. Wyche, you were wonderful, inside, and out. I am not a blood relative of yours, but through the marriage of your daughter to my brother-in-law, we are all connected, and you always treated me like your very own. I remember our family gathering whether at my house or Sandy's I would always find a moment to sit and have a chat with you. I loved our little conversations. Every Christmas you would bring me a gift from one of our favorite stores called Home Goods. Somehow, you always knew what I would like. Over the past several months and weeks, we got to spend a lot of time together. We did a lot of girl talk, we watched some of your favorite shows and one show I was told we weren't going to watch was Judge Judy (smile) we even got to watch some of the Christian Network channels as we sat and listened to some of the gospel music played as we bopped our heads to the tune. Sitting and chatting with you made me feel like I was beyond my years, and I enjoyed every minute of it. We never know the plan God has for us, but whenever he allows me to sit and listen to someone with so much wisdom such as yourself, there I sat, and my ears were wide open to hear all that you had to say. All our conversations I will forever hold close to my heart, and I will never forget them. I am not sure if you would want me to tell of one of our conversations, which is that you verbally adopted me as your daughter last week. Sandra and Edward, Jr. do not know that they now have another little sister, but they know now (smile) Mrs. Wyche, as our conversations have ended, your beautiful smile, your beautiful spirit that somehow connected to mine will forever be missed but never forgotten. Rest In His Glory, rest on... your little friend Beverly

I met Mrs.Wyche attending an event with her daughter Sandy. A beautiful, strong, & wise woman with a sweet & caring disposition. Attributes & legacy that she clearly passed down to her daughter. My deepest condolences are extended to the entire family. While nothing on earth can prepare you for the loss of a parent, may your faith give you strength & peace through this difficult time. 2Cor5:6-8…You will remain in our thoughts & prayers. With love & sympathy

My fondest childhood memories of my Aunt Vi has always been the holidays and summers spent at their home, spending time with my cousins Sandra and Edward growing up. Her taking us to see the latest Disney movies. With her being a teacher she always stayed on me about education and keeping my grades up. I am truly grateful to come from a family of teachers and Christians! My family is truly blessed for that! The long talks of encouragement she always gave me and wonderful meals she prepared! I still only love her macroni and cheese and pancakes! Aunt Vi you will truly be missed. Thanks to all you've done for me.
Rest in eternal peace. Your Neice Brenda ❤

I first met Mrs. Wyche in 1985 when I started dating her daughter, my wife, Sandra. I was so blessed to call her my Mother-in-Law. We had a special bond and would talk about anything and everything. She was all about family and being the best Christian she could be. In addition to raising my wife, she played a huge roll in raising my daughter. I love Mrs. Wyche and will dearly miss her. I already feel her presence with me and can now talk to her anytime, anywhere.

I will miss you Mrs. Wyche. Until we meet again...
