Mr Garner was such a sweet soul. Every time I passed by him he always had a smile on his face. Even though we didn't see each other much, he was a friendly likeable neighbor. My thoughts and prayers are sent to his family and friends.

Brother-in-law, no more pain and suffering - you’re at peace. We will see each other again. I really missed your attendance at my annual backyard cookout.

My deepest condolences to the Garner family. I have so many found memories of Joe and Josephine visiting my grandmother in Va growing up .Joe was kind and funny and they both always had the best stories. Joe is with his beloved now telling stories with the angels.

My deepest condolences and sympathies in this tragic time. Joe and Josephine always treated my mother Loretta which was Josephine’s first cousin with love and open arms not only her but her children and grandchildren as well. May God left him into his heavenly arms where there is peace and love. The Brown Family
