There are no words that can encompass the greatness of Damon. He illuminated every room he entered. An untrumpable force he moved with excellence; any person or environment he entered was instantly elevated. To the Hughes Family-Our heartfelt sympathies are with you & your family at this difficult time. We can’t offer you enough words or love that will ever comfort you with such an immeasurable loss of your King Damon;but,we must try. Damon poured into the world, those that were lucky enough to know him,his goodness, his greatness & his gifts & talents. His Legacy carriers will keep his name alive in us & thru us.

I will never forget Damon and the impact he’s had on my life. He was a dear colleague and friend. I will miss the positive light he radiated. He was one of the few people in this world that always made sure he left you better than he found you. My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My Prayers and thoughts go to the Hughes family. Damon was a nice guy who always had a smile on his face. We had good conversations about his passion for food and grilling. He had me sold so I had him prepare ribs for my birthday, which EVERYONE ❤️.
Your kindness will be missed.

Whenever my children would choose to go to Uncle Damon’s house for Thanksgiving or any occasion, I didn’t have to worry that they would not eat well and have something to take home to boot. Gonna miss the grill master he was and the gift of gab that he had. I pray the family’s strength and leave you all with a passage of Scripture that helps during the difficult journeys of life..Psalms 34:17-18.

We will always remember Damon for his infectious smile! But he will be remembered most for his willingness to use his knowledge to help minority businesses. He was a wonderful resource and representation for Baltimore when we visited China.
May Jehovah God lift up the family during their time of grief.

Always a smile, not a frown. Always a funny joke at the right time and place. Damon was the life of the Amazon SD&I team. I'm confident he's also the brightest star in the sky. You may be gone, but never forgotten, my beloved friend and colleague.
My heartfelt condolences to the entire Hughes family!

To the family of Damon Hughes. My prayers are with you all and thank you for sharing Damon with us. I met him in college and then we went to the same church. He was such a comedian and he loved his family. Treasure all the good times. May God cover you all and give you peace.

Send my condolences to the family, so sorry to hear this news, I worked with Damon at Bell Atlantic back in the late 90's and we periodically stayed in touched over the years always talking about getting on the golf course, because our bodies just wouldn't let us get back on the basketball court. Always enjoyed our conversations, he will be missed. Dirk Logan

Such a complete shock to find out about Damon's passing today. He was always so kind to me and always there to help people. He greeted people with such a warm welcome and stood tall with great confidence. I will miss him. But his efforts in advocacy will never be forgotten. I thought he would live a very long life. May God bless his soul and give him forever lasting peace. My condolences to his family.
