We, the Sweet Hope Free Will Baptist Church Family, extend sincere sympathy to you at this time, in the loss of our beloved sister, Betsy Vines.
We want you to know that we care, we share in your sorrow, and we are remembering you and your family in our prayers.
Sister Betsy Vines served Sweet Hope, the kingdom of God, and the people of God with honor and distinction. She gave the very best of herself in all that she did for the glory of God. I rejoice in knowing that to “be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” and I know without a doubt, she is rejoicing and singing somewhere around God’s throne, “how I got over.”
Take comfort in knowing that God did not make a mistake and that her victorious transition is a part of God’s plan to work all things together for the good. God is simply following His master plan. So, trust Him. Believe that He is able and that He is only a prayer away. Seek the Lord for comfort and guidance and joy and peace, and believe that He will see you through.
Today, we remember Sis. Vines with love and hold on to the fond memories we have of her. Remember the joys that she brought into our lives and the glory she brought to God’s Kingdom. Now, she is free from the troubles of the world and rests in the arms of the Lord.
Be strong, be encouraged, and be at peace. And, above all, believe this: “Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.” God bless you all. WE HAVE THE VICTORY!!!
With Loving Thoughts,
Pastor Terry G. Thornton and the Sweet Hope Family
