Yomi, it's so hard to accept you're no longer with us but we rest with the belief that heaven has gained one more soul, and you'll be smiling down on your loved ones from heaven.
Vengeance is mine says the Lord.
We leave it all in God's hands, pick up the pieces and try our best to move on.
May God's love and grace be upon your wife, kids and family.
Till we meet again because death has no hold over us.
Sun re o Yomi; Sun re!

It's exactly two weeks since your demise and am still finding it hard to believe because it still all seems like a dream. The last words "testimonies" I heard you shared are still ringing in my heard. I knew you as my sister's husband and the few encounters I had we you were nothing short of amazing. We have courage in the truth that for us believers, death is not the end but the beginning of an eternal life. Though it's sad, heart breaking and hard to see You go we know that it is well with our souls. Rest on sir!

Life indeed is a mist. I was shocked to my marrow when his sister Ajoke broke the sad news to me. Although, I didn't have such rare opportunity to see / meet him physically but his activities in the family during his lifetime endeared him to my heart. He represents the best Treen in the Bush that doesn't last. May the soul of the departed rest in perfect peace. My sincere condolences to OSUPURU FAMILY for the irreparable loss.

My brain hasn’t come to terms that you are no more , Uncle Abayo and it hurts to know I will never see you again . I have promised myself, I won’t question God on why he took you so early from this world; so sad that you aren’t here with us any more.
You were more than an uncle to me, you were my “G” for life. Too many stories to tell about your impact in my life . Is it how you made Aunty Bukky come visit me in Abuja or how we were both crying while I was in labour for Siji. Our stories/ memories are just too many to mention but I am glad we had our special bond and I will continue to cherish them.
You are such an incredible man with a magnanimous heart( Gosh!!!). Your kind is indeed rare . Thank you for teaching me to be selfless by being good and not expecting anything.
I love you sooooooo much

Abayo the news of your death came to me like a thunder because I did not see this coming. You were a unique being with outstanding qualities. I prayed and waited to celebrate your successes in God’s own country considering your great potentials, but to my greatest shock death took you away expectingly. You were a genius with so much knowledge and wisdom that I trusted your judgment. You were selfless, kind, a problem solver, and a peace maker. Above all you loved God and served in His vineyard. Your smile was contagious and I believe you are looking down on us from above with the host of angels relaxing with your big smile. I miss and love you so much my dear brother and you will always remain in my heart. Continue to rest in the bosom of God Almighty where we will see to part no more. Sun re Omo Osuporu.

My favorite photo of Uncle Abayo is my favorite memory of him. He’s holding his hands out and running towards the camera smiling. I had come to visit, and I remember all that he did to make sure I enjoyed my visit. My tribute is another testament of how he always goes out of his way to make other people comfortable and happy, always helping. Uncle Abayo, it is so painful to know you are away from us, but I am consoled by the memories of you pouring yourself out while we had you with us. Love you Uncle Abayo.

It is not difficult to find praise worthy comments when a person dies…yours is different.
A loss that feels so unreal and still unimaginable.
Your jokes and laughter at the end of each phone conversation never to be heard again…
‘Aunty Wendy Banks’.
Your humility unmatched.
Abayo, words fail me because we had all just celebrated a fun filled weekend.
O Death, where is thy sting?
O grave where is thy victory?
Til’ Resurrection Morning,
Rest Well AB-YO!
