Although, I didn't have such rare opportunity to see / meet him physically but his activities in the family during his lifetime endeared him to my heart. Abayo the news of your death came to me like a thunder because I did not see this coming. You were a unique being with outstanding qualities. I prayed and waited to celebrate your successes in God’s own country considering your great potentials, but to my greatest shock death took you away expectingly. You were a genius with so much knowledge and wisdom that I trusted your judgment. You were selfless, kind, a problem solver, and a peace maker. Above all you loved God and served in His vineyard. Your smile was contagious and I believe you are looking down on us from above with the host of angels relaxing with your big smile. My favorite photo of Uncle Abayo is my favorite memory of him. He’s holding his hands out and running towards the camera smiling. I had come to visit, and I remember all that he did to make sure I enjoyed my visit. My tribute is another testament of how he always goes out of his way to make other people comfortable and happy, always helping. Uncle Abayo, it is so painful to know you are away from us, but I am consoled by the memories of you pouring yourself out while we had you with us. Love you Uncle Abayo.
