Wylie Funeral Home Breaks Ground on New Location

Wylie Funeral Homes, P.A. of Baltimore City held a ceremony for the groundbreaking of a new $2.2 million dollar state of the art facility in the Harlem Park community.

City officials including: Baltimore City Council President, Jack Young and Baltimore City Comptroller, Joan Pratt took part in the event. The new funeral home will aid in the city’s economic development and beautification efforts, and is the first funeral home to be constructed in the city for almost thirty years.

Al Wylie, the firms owner, believes this project is significant to Baltimore’s citizens because, “It is important to provide the people of Baltimore City with the same level of quality and service that you can find outside of the city. It is also important to continue to build and invest in the community we serve.”
