I am deeply sorry for your loss. The death of a loved one is the most difficult thing to deal with. I wanted to take this time to express my condolences to you for your loss. May you find comfort from Jehovah God's word the Bible. (Psalms 83:18) God's word the Bible promises: "there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." (Acts 24:15) Jehovah God assures us that our dear dead loved ones will receive a resurrection to a restored beautiful paradise earth. (2 Peter 3:13) You can have the hope of being reunited with your dear dead loved ones here on earth. Jehovah God also promises: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." (1 Corinthians 15:26) Death will be removed from all the earth. Tears of sorrow will vanish. No one will die from natural causes or weep. These are promises that will soon be a reality. (Isaiah 55:11) May you find comfort from these promises. And may Jehovah God of all comfort be with you. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) For more encouragement please visit www.jw.org under "Death"

This is so unbelievable, but as the scripture says About the day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father; Matthew 24:36. Gordy you will definitely be missed. This was a friend from back in the day and every time we get together we shared so many laughs. Just a few months ago we were celebrating at a home going for another one of our childhood friends, Waldo. Gordy was there cutting up as he always did, and have me cracking up. Gordy I’m going to miss your smile, our conversations and the laughs that we shared. Until then R.I.P. my brother and thanks for the laughs and memories.

Please except my condolences on the passing of your dear oved one, I pray that your family will find comfort in the God of all comfort Jehovah. I too have experienced the sting of death and although it is never easy to say goodbye to those we love, I was able to find much hope in Gods word the bible. Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say:"I am sick" The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error. Revelation 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away... What a wonderful time we all have to look forward to when no one will never again get sick or die.

To my family, Just not too long ago we celebrated the life of his father, Gordon Sr. and now we are back to celebrate the life of him. My heart and prayers are with us all, may we continue to look to the Lord who is the author and finisher of our faith. As we draw near to God, He will draw near to us. Keep looking up, our redemption draweth nigh.
